4. Service Agreements and Contracts

• Initial consultations are provided free of charge
• Quotes are estimates based on available information
• Final pricing may vary based on site conditions and project changes
• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified

Construction Contracts:

• All work is governed by separate written construction contracts
• Contracts include detailed scope, timeline, and payment terms

5. Payment Terms

6. Permits and Approvals

We will assist with permit applications and approvals, but:

• Permit fees are separate from our service fees
• Delays due to permit issues may affect project timeline

7. Project Timeline and Delays

Project timelines are estimates based on typical conditions. Delays may occur due to:

• Permit processing delays
• Weather conditions
• Unforeseen site conditions
• Material availability
• Client-requested changes
• Inspection scheduling

We will make reasonable efforts to minimize delays and keep clients informed of any timeline changes.

8. Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty:

• One-year warranty on workmanship from project completion
• Warranty covers defects in installation and construction
• Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear
• Warranty requires proper maintenance by property owner

Material Warranties:

• Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials and fixtures
• Warranty claims must be processed through manufacturers
• We will assist with warranty claim processing

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Total liability shall not exceed the contract value
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

• Client is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage

10. Insurance and Licensing

• Bond coverage as required

Proof of insurance and licensing is available upon request.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and intellectual property created during the project:

• Remain our property until final payment is received
• Are licensed to the client for the specific property
• Cannot be used for other projects without permission
• May be used by us for marketing purposes (with client consent)

12. Cancellation and Termination

Client Cancellation:

• Client may cancel services with written notice
• Cancellation fees may apply based on work completed
• Refunds calculated based on work performed and materials ordered
• Design work and permits are non-refundable once delivered

Company Termination:

• We may terminate services for non-payment
• We may terminate for breach of contract terms
• We may terminate for unsafe or illegal activities

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:

1. Direct Communication: Good faith effort to resolve issues directly
2. Mediation: Non-binding mediation with a neutral third party
3. Arbitration: Binding arbitration under California law

Legal proceedings will be conducted in California courts under California law.

14. Changes to Terms
